ryan scullin

ryan scullin is an art director based in new york city. ryan earned his bachelor of fine arts in graphic design from champlain college in 2017, where he also began working as a freelance photographer and videographer.
he has over seven years of professional experience as a graphic designer and photographer, working in both agency settings and freelance on projects for clients such as meta, adidas, nike, hbo, and mcdonald’s. ryan also has expertise in brand identity, videography, advertising, and typography.

brand identity

created the brand identity for multii media. the curves of the double-m lettermark repeat throughout much of the branding to highlight information and frame content. the colors, textures and overall aesthetic of multii media feel youthful and unconventional, while also having a level of sophistication and clarity.

All star game

designed collateral for New era’s all star game 2023 presence. this design lays out the new era logo across the top, reframing the shape to be skewed off its traditional axis, blending into a repeating line motif that carries over to the included comms card.

meta
bcd branding

while at team epiphany, created the overall identity of meta’s 2022 black creator day event as well as a large infinitely looping projection map that played between presentations. meta wanted to use very little “meta blue” for this event and wanted the event to stand on its own visually, so by leaning into a selection of natural textures, paints, and photographs and collaging them together into patterns, it created visual cohesion throughout the event while also feeling creative and playful.
